1. Competitions
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions organised by the Promoter via the Promoters website at www.thrillcompetitions.com.
1.2 These competitions are governed by English law, and any disputes connected to the competition will be settled in accordance with English law, with sole jurisdiction resting with the English courts
1.3 Thrill Competitions Ltd ('Promoter') can conduct multiple competitions simultaneously. These are skill-based competitions, including a simple multiple choice question and a paid entry for online entrants leading to the distribution of rewards, a free entry route is available – please see section T&C's 3.1.2 for further information
1.4 The competitions will be open between the start and end dates listed on the website (….). These specific dates which will vary for each competition will be referred to as the "Opening Date" and "Closing Date". Specific times and dates are according to the current times in London, England.
1.5 The Promoter maintains the right to alter the opening and closing dates of a competition if necessary. The revised information will be posted on the website www.thrillcompetitions.com if the promoter does alter the competition's start or end dates.
1.6 Due to there being a free entry route available for each competition, the competitions can be run without the need of a gambling licence (Gambling Act 2005)
2. Eligibility
2.1 All United Kingdom residents who are 18 years of age or older may enter the competition excluding the Promoter or their employees, any members of the Promoters immediate family or household, agents and anyone else involved in the development or management of our competitions
2.2 The entrant will be deemed to have the legal capacity to enter the competition, to have read and understood these terms and conditions, and to have agreed to be bound by them as well as by any additional conditions outlined in any associated promotional material
2.3 In the event that they feel a customer is abusing the services or they have reason to suspect that the customer is not actually entering, the Promoter maintains the right to reject access at any time or to close the customer's account
2.4 If the Promoter has a legitimate suspicion that an Entrant has violated any of these Terms and Conditions, it maintains the right to refuse or disqualify any completed entries
2.5 By accepting these Terms and Conditions and participating in a Competition online through the Website, you certify that you are not breaking any laws pertaining to the legality of participating in our Competitions in your country of residence. Any Entrant who enters one of our competitions illegally is not the Promoter's fault.
3. Competition Entry
3.1 How to enter:
3.1.1 How to enter online;
- Go to the competition page on the website and choose the competition you wish to enter
- View the Competition question or problem and select your answer
- Select your chosen number of entries and add it to the cart, please note there may be a maximum amount of entries each Entrant can purchase
- On the checkout page, finish the checkout process and fill out any required information including a registration form, then tick the box confirming you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
- Lastly, provide your payment details to receive an order confirmation via email.
3.1.2
There is a free entry route available for all competitions organised by the Promoter. Each Entrant is only allowed one postal entry into each competition, and each entry must be sent in separately on a postcard via first or second class postage. The Promoter will assign a random ticket number to each free entry for the competition. Free entries will all be handled exactly the same as paid entries. The postal entry must arrive to the Promoter before the closing date specified on the competition otherwise the entry will be invalid. On the postcard the Entrant must include the following;
- Full name (as it shows on your valid drivers licence or passport)
- Address
- Date of Birth (18+)
- E-mail Address
- Contact Telephone Number
- The chosen competition the Entrant wishes to enter and the answer to the specific competition question

3.2 The Competition will only accept completed Entries that include the right response, as determined by the Promoter. Any participant who does not accurately respond to a question posted on the website will still be charged.
3.3 All competition entries, including postal submissions, must be received by the Promoter no later than the designated time on the closing day. On the closing date, all entries submitted beyond the given time will be invalid
3.4 The Promoter will not be held accountable for incomplete, lost or delayed competition entries.
3.5 The Entrant will enter into a contract with the Promoter and consent to be bound by these terms and conditions when you purchase entries and submit a competition entry.
3.6 Participants are aware that Thrill Competitions Ltd will add their personal information to their database and utilise it in compliance with the guidelines of the Data Protection Act 2018
3.7 For online entries, each competition will have a maximum number of entries per individual unless stated otherwise. For postal entries, entries will be limited to one entry to each competition per individual.
4. Competition Judgement
4.1 All participants who respond to the competition question accurately will be entered into a drawing as a successful entrant, and the winner will be selected at random.
4.2 Unless stated otherwise by the Promoter, each competition will only have One Winner
4.3 The Promoter will use the phone numbers and email addresses supplied at the time of Entry (or as later amended) and maintained securely in our database to make contact with competition winners. It is the Entrants duty to make sure that these particulars are true, current and sufficient. The Promoter will not be held liable for any consequences of any kind however they may arise if for any reason you mistakenly submit these details. The accuracy of the entrants contact information must be thoroughly verified by the participant
4.4 If the Promoter is unable to contact a Winner within 5 working days after the 'Closing Date' of the competition the Winner will be disqualified and the Prize will be forfeited and The Promoter will continue to be the sole owner and possessor of the Prize
5. Winner
5.1 After successful communication between the Promoter and the winning Entrant, the Winner will have to provide identity documentation. If this stipulation is not met, the Promoter may keep the Prize and the Winner will be disqualified.
5.2 The Promoter will request each winner's permission to provide pictures or videos showcasing them winning their Prize, or any of their personal information, in promotional materials. If the Winner agrees to the following, the Promoter may use the aforementioned images, films, and promotional materials to identify them as a Winner of a Competition in future marketing and public relations efforts related to the Competition
5.3 The Winner consents to the use of their names on the Website in accordance with the Privacy Policy by the Promoter. Within 24 hours of the Winner being selected for the Competition, the Winner's name and city will be displayed on the Website and Social media platforms for the purpose of making an announcement
6. Prizes
6.1 Prizes for each competition are decided upon, chosen by the Promoter, and they belong to the Promoter from the time the Competition goes live on the Website until the Winner receives the Prize. You shall find information about each Prize on the Websites Competition page
6.2 The Promoter disclaims all liability for prizes that have been granted after delivery. The Promoter does not insure the Prize after the Winner accepts it. The prizes do not include insurance, and the promoter is not liable for the prize after it has been given to the winner
6.3 If the Prize is unavailable at the time of the Closing Date, any Prize may be replaced by another prize of equal or higher value at the discretion of the promoter. The Promoter will try to update the Website as soon as it is practical if any details of the Prize change
6.4 The Promoter in no way implies, provides, accepts, or guarantees any warranty, value, or roadworthiness of the Prize. Before entering the competition, the Entrant must come to their own conclusion based on independent research and legal counsel
6.5 Deliveries to the Winner are free to any mainland UK address unless stated otherwise. If the winner requests that the Prize be sent outside of mainland UK, the Promoter has the right to charge delivery fees to the winner
6.6 The Winner is solely responsible for covering any costs incurred by Entrants to collect the Prize.
6.7 Each prize must be accepted in the form in which it is given; it is non-transferable it cannot be exchanged for another prize or used in connection with any other coupons, discounts, or offers, including without limitation those from the Promoter, any Prize suppliers, or other third parties
6.8 The Winning Entrant must personally redeem the Prize. The Prize cannot be claimed on your behalf by a third party unless it is agreed upon by The Promoter. The Winner will receive their prize within 30 days unless discussed otherwise between the Promoter and the Winning Entrant
6.9 Competition prizes may have a cash alternative, if so it'll be clearly stated on the Promoters website
7. Limitations of Liability
7.1 Regarding the calibre or suitability of any of the products or services provided as prizes, the promoter makes no guarantees or promises. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained to person or property, including, but not limited to, consequential loss as a result of any act or omission by the Promoter, or its agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods by any person to the prize Winners, and, where applicable, to any family members
8. Notice of Data Protection
8.1 The Promoter will use any personal information you give to them or give them permission to get from a third party, like a credit card firm, to manage the Competition and, if necessary, award Prizes. The Promoter may share your personal information with the following parties in order to process, record, and use it; (a) any credit card company whose name you provide; (b) any person whom the Promoter proposes to transfer any of its rights and/or obligations under any contract it may have with you; (c) any third party with whom the Promoter must comply with any legal or regulatory requirement
9. Electronic Communication
9.1 No liability will be accepted for failed, incomplete, or jumbled computer transmissions; for any computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic, or internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, or availability; for any service provider's actions or inactions; for internet accessibility or availability; or for traffic congestion or unauthorised human act, including any mistakes or errors. The Promoter will make every effort to award the Competition reward to the proper Entrant. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, and without admitting any liability, to reclaim the Competition Prize and give it to the proper Entrant in the event that the prize is awarded mistakenly owing to hardware, software, or other computer related malfunction, or due to human error.
